The TX-RZ70 amplifier section is built on two ESS Sabre Pro 9026 DACs with eight channels each — a total of sixteen independent conversion channels for eleven analog outputs and two subwoofers. The company's Dynamic Audio Amplification technology manages the power distribution between the channels in real time, providing clean, controlled sound even in the most loaded scenes. The massive case — over 19 inches deep, almost 50 pounds of mass — is not a fad: it serves as a heat sink and mechanical damper at the same time.

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, IMAX Enhanced — the TX-RZ70 decodes all current surround sound formats without exception, supporting configurations up to 7.2.4 on the built-in channels. Dirac Live Room Correction Full Bandwidth adjusts the sound across the entire frequency range for a specific room, and the optional Dirac Live Bass Control provides independent correction of each subwoofer - a feature rare even in much more expensive components. For those who prefer a classic approach, the built-in AccuEQ is a full-fledged alternative.

Seven inputs and three HDMI 2.1 outputs with support for HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dynamic HDR and bandwidth sufficient for 8K/60 and 4K/120. eARC on the main output, two independent HDMI outputs for different rooms simultaneously - the receiver's video path is ready for any current source and display.

The TX-RZ70 supports DTS Play-Fi for a full multi-room audio system and integrates into the Sonos ecosystem via Sonos Port - up to three independent zones with different content simultaneously. Apple AirPlay 2, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Spotify, TIDAL — voice control and streaming without additional devices. Two-way Bluetooth with aptX HD support allows you to both receive sound from a smartphone and broadcast it to wireless headphones in 24-bit quality.

The TX-RZ70 menu is distinguished by its rare logic for a flagship device: ten main items, a quick overlay menu for adjustments during viewing, a clear OSD on 4K screens and projectors. IP control, RS-232C, 12 V trigger output, a full set of analog and digital inputs, including component and composite video for working with old equipment. The built-in MM phono equalizer opens up the possibility of connecting a vinyl player directly.
