Description
The Onkyo TX-RZ50 is the answer to the question of what a modern top-of-the-line AV receiver should be. Nine channels of amplification with a power of 120 watts each, support for processing up to 11.2 channels through external amplifiers, THX Certified Ultra, Dirac Live with full broadband room acoustics correction - and all this in one housing, ready to become the center of a system of any scale.
Product information
The heart of the TX-RZ50 is Onkyo's proprietary Dynamic Audio Amplification technology, which redistributes power between channels depending on the current load - the result is felt as a controlled, confident sound delivery even in the most dynamic scenes. The device decodes the entire current arsenal of spatial sound: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Auro-3D, supporting configurations up to 7.2.4 in full format.
Dirac Live Room Correction calibrates the sound for a specific room using a measurement microphone - technology borrowed from the studio segment is available here right out of the box, without additional fees and complications.
Seven inputs and three HDMI 2.1 outputs with support for HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Dynamic HDR provide a bandwidth of 40 Gbps - enough for 8K/60 and 4K/120. eARC on the main output guarantees full-fledged transmission of surround sound from the TV, bypassing compression. Two independent HDMI outputs allow you to stream different video content in two rooms at the same time.
The TX-RZ50 supports Spotify, TIDAL, Deezer, TuneIn and Pandora directly, without external devices. Two-way Bluetooth allows you to both receive sound from a smartphone and stream it to wireless headphones - with support for aptX HD for 24-bit audio. The receiver integrates into the Sonos ecosystem and is voice-controlled via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The TX-RZ50 chassis is designed with electromagnetic distribution in mind: functional blocks are spaced and shielded to eliminate mutual interference between digital and analog paths. For installers, IP control, RS-232C, 12 V trigger output and OSD output are provided. A built-in MM-type phono equalizer opens up the possibility of connecting a vinyl player directly to the receiver - without external devices.
