Description
Purple Flare cables utilize the core Nordost cable design, including gold-plated solid cores and FEP extrusion, as well as the integration of patented Micro Mono-Filament technology to enhance signal transfer speed and accuracy.
Equipped with Purple Flare cables, your sound system will take shape, providing you with a sense of coherence and precision that is unattainable with standard cables.
The ideal high-quality audio cable Does not add or take anything away from the signal it transmits. By equipping your sound system with a neutral cable, you can achieve a more realistic result. The main feature of the Nordost Leif series, which includes the Purple Flare cable, is not so much in special filters or rare materials, but rather in ultra-precise engineering, detailed design and manufacturing.
The Purple Flare analog interconnect cable is a fully shielded construction that can be terminated with balanced or single-ended connectors. It uses six solid 26 AWG thick-gauge conductors with a silver-plated OFC copper core, a precision braided shield with a minimal cross-sectional configuration that eliminates the need for optional fillers or spacers. The insulation is a high-quality Teflon (fluorinated ethylene propylene - FEP), which has been selected to provide excellent dielectric characteristics, while the elegant minimalism of the design extends to carefully selected lightweight connectors and differential grounding.
Like all Nordost cables, the Purple Flare interconnect is hand-made and crimped with connectors in the USA, further ensuring consistent quality and stable operation. The result is a high-speed, low-loss connection that preserves a sense of musical power and momentum, providing realistic stage and performer presence, color, life, and drama in their performance.
