NAD offers superior sound quality and combines two simple solutions - the PP4 digital phono stage and a USB preamp - into one small unit, making it easy to add phono stage to stereo amplifiers and AV receivers without a phono stage input. The PP4 uses a shielded USB cable and a recording level control that reduces noise and improves the digital-to-analog conversion process. As part of NAD's commitment to the environment, the PP4 is equipped with a more efficient "green" power supply that reduces power consumption. It also has an automatic power-off function that saves energy by turning off when not in use.
The PP4 allows you to digitize your precious vinyl record collection on your PC. It has MM (moving magnet) and MC (moving coil) inputs for a wide range of phono stages, as well as a line input for transferring cassette recordings. The PP4 also includes VinylStudio Lite software for ripping records and burning audio CDs.
