NAD introduced the C558 LP player. This is an upgraded version of the discontinued C556. The C558 has a belt drive, a straight 9" arm and the included Ortofon OM10 cartridge. Of the settings, the spinner supports adjustment of the vertical tracking angle and azimuth. The player works with discs at 33.3 and 45 rpm. A centimeter-thick glass disk is covered with a felt mat. The table is made of MDF and rests on rubber feet. Comes with a low-resonance protective cover.
