Description
The latest Nu-Vista 600 integrated amplifier is built on the long-forgotten nuvistors - electro-vacuum devices that have all the advantages of lamps, but with the dimensions of transistors, and increase reliability and resistance to harmful environmental conditions, including vibration, impact and even penetrating radiation. They are still used in aerospace and military engineering and other areas where reliability, stability, stability and better performance are required. These technologies are used only by Musical Fidelity in the device intended for the home.
When developing the new product, the designers set the task of creating a more affordable model on nuvistars than the previously released Nu-Vista 800, but equal to it in terms of sound quality and intended for work in smaller rooms. Having limited the output power by 30%, the developers reduced the dimensions of the power supply unit and the weight of the device by 5 kg compared to the Nu-Vista 800. But even the remaining energy efficiency is enough for most systems - both stereophonic and combined, that is, intended for music and cinema. The output power of 2 x 200 W given in the documentation was measured at a load of 8 ohms - on a more advanced 4-ohm it will be twice as much.
The device is equipped with all the most used input interfaces: two balanced (XLR) and 4 four single-phase (RCA) inputs are CD, tuner, 2 x AUX. There are two types of line outputs (fixed and adjustable line outputs), as well as a dedicated input directly to the amplifier's power (home theater bypass). Final cascades easily control even the working acoustics. To ensure better stability, they are effectively decoupled from the input circuits. Also partitions completely right and left channels (double mono topology).
