The heavy 2.7-kilogram platter made of tempered glass is supported by a magnetic suspension and precision bearing, which ensures extremely smooth rotation. The speed is set by a quartz controller with optical reading - accuracy up to 0.1%.
The tonearm is equipped with a McIntosh MC cartridge with an aluminum body and a needle with a sapphire insert. The tonearm is made of duralumin, with precise damping, the ability to adjust VTA, azimuth and anti-skating.
An integrated analog voltmeter with a light backlight shows the exact rotation speed - a signature visual accent in the McIntosh style.
