Product information
Experience the world's first headphones from Mark Levinson, a pioneer in high-end audio with 50 years of experience. Reference-quality sound is combined with luxurious comfort in lightweight, durable headphones with Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that are ideal for travel.
Combining high quality sound, comfort, and good looks, the No. 5909 is made with high-quality materials, including aluminum core components, leather headband, and interchangeable leather ear cushions. The battery life is up to 34 hours (30 hours with adaptive active noise canceling enabled). Durable and lightweight for travel, the headphones come with a hard travel case, cables and adapters.
Model 5909 delivers reference-quality sound with 40mm beryllium-coated drivers that have been tuned to the HARMAN curve and developed by the same world-class audio engineers behind Mark Levinson's renowned amplifiers, turntables, and streaming players. The sound quality meets the stringent Hi-Res Audio certification standards, which indicates the presence of an LDAC audio codec, digital circuits compatible with 24-bit/96 kHz processing, and an acoustic response of up to 40 kHz. This ensures almost perfect linearity in the audio range.
In addition to high-quality sound, the headphones are packed with features that music lovers on the go will appreciate, including high-resolution Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connectivity with LDAC, AAC and aptX™ technologies, a four-microphone array with Smart Wind Adaptation for crystal clear phone calls, three-mode adaptive active noise cancellation for superior sound isolation, and selectable Ambient Aware mode (headphone transparency).
Along with the hard travel case, a full set of cables and accessories is provided, including a 1.25m USB-C charging cable, USB-C to USB-A adapter, 1.25m and 4m USB-C to 3.5mm audio jacks, 3.5mm to 6.3mm audio adapter, airplane audio adapter, and a microfiber polishing cloth.
