The Marantz 50n is a modern digital player that combines classic CD, streaming server, high-quality DAC and Marantz's signature analogue sound. It's the perfect hub for a next-generation audio system: everything at your fingertips, nothing superfluous, maximum sound.
The main idea of the 50n is to combine your favorite sources in one device:
- CD player for your disc collection,
- HEOS streaming — support for Spotify, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Deezer, internet radio, AirPlay 2, Roon Ready, UPnP,
- USB DAC — for PC and Hi-Res files (up to 384kHz/32-bit PCM, DSD128),
- digital inputs — optical, coaxial and HDMI ARC (you can output sound from the TV).
Inside, there is a premium ESS ES9016K2M DAC, implemented in the Marantz HDAM proprietary circuit — this gives a very clean, detailed and at the same time "warm" sound, which is so appreciated at Marantz. The sound is large-scale, spacious, but not cold or digital. This is exactly what a modern source in a system that plays music, not numbers, should be like.
At the output — both balanced XLR and RCA. There is also an adjustable output level, so you can connect the 50n directly to active speakers or a power amplifier.
Control via the remote control, the HEOS app or via voice assistants (Alexa, Google, Siri). Updates via the network. Roon Ready support is a nice bonus for those who listen to music in a structured way.
And all this in the classic Marantz design: aluminum facade, "gold" backlight, recognizable round display. The ideal pair is the Marantz Model 50 integrated amplifier, but the 50n will easily fit into any other Hi-Fi class system or higher.
