The Kali Audio LP-6 2nd Wave is the second generation of the Lone Pine Series studio monitor that is specifically designed to let you hear every detail that happens in your mix during recording or mixing studio application scenarios. The LP-6 2nd Wave has a 2-way design with a bass reflex port on the front. The integrated Class D power amplifier delivers 40W of clean output power to each speaker. The LP-6's low frequencies are handled by a 6.5-inch woofer with a larger magnet, while high frequencies are handled by a 1-inch waveguide-loaded soft-dome tweeter.

New additions include 12dB lower self-noise, 3dB higher output power thanks to a more sophisticated limiter, even more robust DSP for smooth high-frequency reproduction, lightweight transducers, and improved assembly processes for cosmetic durability.

Border EQ settings are available on the back of the speaker along with a quick reference guide printed directly on the speaker itself. Now you have an excellent opportunity to exploit it to use the device on tables with monitor stands. The Kali team has customized Boundary EQ and developed Boundary Compensating settings to help you get optimal sound where you need to place your speakers. What's more, when combined with the LF and HF trims, it will make your speakers sound their best no matter what room you're mixing in or where they're placed.
Class D power
The integrated Class D power amplifier provides clean, reliable power optimized for this instrument. It uses 40W for the 1" soft dome tweeter and 40W for the 6.5" woofer.
