The Kali Audio IN-5 is a compact three-way studio monitor that is designed for professional applications and offers a high level of detail and wide sound directionality.
The IN-5 features optimized amplifiers with lower noise levels, an improved DSP processor and high-quality converters. The speaker is equipped with a 5" paper woofer with a special coating, a coaxial multi-layer 4" midrange driver and a 1" soft dome tweeter.
The monitor amplifiers operate in class D and provide a total power of 160 W. The model has a DSP processor controlled by switches on the rear panel, thanks to which it is possible to adjust the bass / treble levels, as well as use sound response optimization modes depending on the location of the speaker. For connection, the monitor has XLR, RCA and TRS inputs.
This monitor offers a frequency range of 47 Hz to 21 kHz (±3 dB), extending to 39 Hz and 25 kHz at -10 dB. When positioned in the near field of the monitor, you will be able to produce audio at 85dB with 20dB of headroom, which is a suitable level for many mixing environments.
