Description
Designed and developed at the world-renowned Center for Advanced Acoustical Engineering in Northridge, California, the Stage 280F is the flagship of the new JBL Stage Series. This rack-mount loudspeaker features a 2.5 way design with patented Next Generation High Definition Waveguide Geometry (HDITM), a 1-inch (25 mm) anodized aluminum dome tweeter and two 8-inch (200 mm) ribbed polycellulose cones that deliver deep, signature JBL bass.

Dual 8-inch (200 mm) woofers with polycellulose finned cones
The 280F features polycellulose finned woofers. A proprietary blend of other materials is added to the pure cellulose cone to increase rigidity, and the fins follow the legendary JBL design. These woofers deliver deep, precise bass that fills the room.
1-inch (25 mm) anodized aluminum tweeter in next-generation HDI™ waveguide
As a result of intensive research into previous waveguide designs, JBL has developed a new sophisticated geometry that improves directivity, reduces diffraction, and provides an overall neutral frequency response both on and off-axis. The HDI Stage 2 horn is coupled to an anodized aluminum dome tweeter for improved efficiency and dynamics.
Compatible with 240H Atmos module
The 280F pairs perfectly with the 240H to add Dolby Atmos to your system for an enhanced listening experience. Dedicated 5-way Atmos connection blocks conceal wiring and create a flawless appearance.
