Product information
The Norwegian company Hegel Music Systems presents the new Hegel H400 Streamliner integrated amplifier, which is the second in the company's model range after the flagship Hegel H600, from which it inherited many features. The Hegel H400 replaces the Hegel H390 integrated amplifier in the company's product lineup.
The Hegel H400 Streamliner integrated amplifier is a classic A/B class amplifier, which, according to the manufacturer, provides a powerful 250 W per channel for loudspeakers with a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. At the same time, the amplifier can easily withstand a load impedance drop of up to 2 ohms. At the same time, the novelty is quite compact - its dimensions do not exceed 43 cm wide, 44 cm deep and 15 cm high, but its weight is quite consistent with the performance class: The Hegel H400 Streamliner weighs a considerable 20 kg.
As its name suggests, the Hegel H400 Streamliner integrated amplifier is equipped with a network streamer that supports Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay 2, and TuneIn. In addition, the manufacturer promises that the new product will be certified Roon-ready and, therefore, will be able to work in the Roon Labs LLC ecosystem. For the first time, the new Hegel H400 Streamliner features the proprietary Hegel Control app, which allows you to control all the amplifier's functions, including the network streamer.
