This hand-crafted cartridge uses the famous Gyger II sharpened diamond stylus. The thin elliptical sharpening type, with a small radius of 6 μm, provides smooth, extended high frequencies, low distortion and reproduces a highly detailed and dynamic sound. The improved polishing of the diamond tip provides superior tracking ability and reduces recording wear. Because it fills the recording groove more completely due to its larger base radius, the Gyger II is a significant upgrade over conventional types of elliptical styluses.
