The Focal Aria Evo X N°1 model is the senior shelf speaker in the Aria series and fully complies with its principles. The speaker has an elegant classic design that perfectly harmonizes with modern interiors. The top panel of the speaker has an exquisite glass finish, while the front and rear panels are covered with leather. The MDF cabinet is reliably damped and has non-parallel sides, which helps to eliminate internal standing waves and minimize unwanted resonances. The phase inverter port is located on the front panel and supports Power Flow technology, which helps to eliminate dynamic compression.

Focal Aria Evo X N°1 speaker is equipped with an inch TAM tweeter, which has a concave dome made of aluminum-magnesium alloy and a poron suspension, which has a shape memory effect and good damping properties. This suspension minimizes distortion in the range of two to three kilohertz. The fire-retardant dome membrane provides excellent spatial response and a wide sound pattern. Thanks to such a membrane, it is possible to almost completely get rid of the binding to a specific listening place. The tweeter is in an oval flange, which is a small waveguide that improves the directionality of sound in the horizontal plane.
The Focal Aria Evo X N°1 employs a 165 mm woofer with a sandwich cone. In such a cone, the center layer consists of strong, lightweight linen fibers sandwiched between ultra-thin fiberglass reinforcement layers. The result is light weight, excellent internal damping, superior bending stiffness, and fast response time. All of this contributes to the accurate, natural and rich sound with dense articulated bass, good dynamics and minimal distortion.
Focal Aria Evo X N°1 speaker has a pair of high-quality screw terminals, and a one-piece fabric grill with magnetic fastening serves to protect the loudspeakers. According to the manufacturer's data, the speaker is designed for operation in rooms with the area not less than 15 square meters. At that, the distance from the listening position to the speaker should be at least 2.5 m.
