The Spectral 40th is a 3-way, phase inverted loudspeaker system equipped with high power drivers fitted with Focal's iconic K2 Power (aramid fiber) multi-layer cone in the signature yellow color and redesigned with the latest technology from Focal to achieve the best possible linearity and deliver clear and accurate sound.

The latest generation M-shaped inverted dome tweeter delivers incredibly soft and detailed sound, high efficiency and optimal power output. In addition, a new acoustic filtering selection uses special components to extend the frequency range, and the Powerflow™ ventilation system provides greater bass depth. Whatever the music genre, the Spectral 40th delivers a complete listening experience at both high and low volumes.
The finish of the Spectral 40th is extremely high quality and refined: the rigid, damped Gamma Structure cabinet has gorgeous walnut side panels, a Black High Gloss lacquered cabinet and a matte Graphite Black base. The superior materials give this speaker a neo-retro look.
Finally, with a 1.97-inch (5 cm) thick front baffle and Gamma enclosure design with non-parallel internal baffles, as well as increased rigidity and damping, the Spectral 40th is free from any vibrations and distortions: every detail of the design serves to enhance the soundstage.
