Description
The BasX TA2 includes a high-performance stereo FM tuner, a large number of inputs for line-level analog sources, a built-in DAC with a large number of digital inputs for all your digital audio sources, including a high-resolution asynchronous USB input and a built-in Bluetooth receiver with AptX HD support, and a high-performance phono preamplifier supporting moving magnet and moving coil cartridges. The amplifier is equipped with a toroidal transformer and a true audiophile-quality Class A/B output circuit that provides enough power to drive any speaker to a satisfactory sound level.
Flexible input and output options
A full set of analog inputs, including two line-level inputs, and a high-quality phono input that supports both moving coil and moving magnet cartridges.
A complete set of digital inputs, including one USB input, one coaxial S/PDIF input, and one optical S/PDIF (Toslink) input, supporting sample rates and bit depths up to 24/192. The built-in high-performance Bluetooth receiver supports Bluetooth 5, as well as AptX and AAC.
An independent headphone amplifier with direct connection provides a high-quality signal for your favorite headphones for personal listening.
To create a high quality two-channel system, simply connect the TA2's main full-range stereo outputs to a separate high quality stereo amplifier and a good pair of speakers, or to the inputs on a pair of powered monitors.
For use in a high-performance 2.1-channel system, the TA2 has separate outputs for the main speakers and powered subwoofer, with a fixed crossover frequency of 90 Hz and 12 dB/octave active Linquitz-Riley high and low pass filters.
