This flagship model is an example of the best technologies that have been used throughout the history of the Dual company, brought to perfection in the 21st century. The player has a direct drive, it is equipped with a tonearm with a double gimbal and spring pressure. Ortofon Quintet Bronze cartridge is installed in the kit. Dual Primus Maximus is a high-tech vinyl record player that provides excellent musical perception.
Table:
Each unique unit is individually crafted and finished with real wood veneer. The most important components, such as the motor, disc and tonearm, are fixed on a 10 mm thick aluminum plate. The heavy top and bottom plates are connected to minimize vibration.
Disc:
The heavy 2.8 kg disc is made from a solid aluminum billet and sandblasted. The weight of the disc is precisely matched to the engine tuning to reduce the wow effect to an absolute minimum.
Tonearm:
The tonearm base and both suspension elements are made of durable aluminum. Precision pivot ball bearings are used in conjunction with hardened steel pins to ensure tight tonearm assembly tolerances for long life. The clamping force does not depend on gravity and is regulated by a torsion spring.
Occasion:
The drive is designed and manufactured in Germany. Its tuning is specially designed for high-end audio systems, with a special focus on stability, without fast start-up and high torque. These features are only important to DJs and are not suitable in such a high quality system.
