First of all, the Devialet Dione Soundbar differs in design from everything else on the market. The central part is especially noteworthy. A ball called the Orb is responsible for the central channel of the soundbar. It "mechanically and acoustically" adapts to Dione's location. The Devialet Dione soundbar can be hung on the wall or placed in front of the TV. Dione is a fairly compact device.
Devialet Dione is visually divided into three parts. Markings are located on the sides of the central part. One of them says Devialet and the other Dione touch control buttons. The system received 17 speakers, eight of which are subwoofers. Therefore, Dione can surprise you with the width of its frequency response: from 24 Hz to 21 kHz. Total power — 950 W RMS. The maximum sound pressure is 101 dB SPL. The maximum sound quality is 24 bits/96 kHz.
From physical connectors, Dione received HDMI 2.1 eARC, optical SPDIF and gigabit Ethernet. Also, the soundbar received support for AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth 5.0 and UPnP. You can connect to the network not only by wire, but also by Wi-Fi. It is dual-band here.
Spatial sound is adjusted with the help of four calibration microphones built directly into the system. They catch all possible reflections and adjust the sound specifically to your room.
