Description
The DCD-3000NE is Denon's flagship disc player, paired with the PMA-3000NE amplifier and DNP-2000NE network streamer. This is a component for those who have already built a serious system and are looking for a source that can unleash its full potential.
At the heart of the player is an ESS Sabre ES9018K2M digital-to-analog converter in a quad configuration with a resolution of 32-bit/384 kHz. Paired with it is the seventh-generation Ultra AL32 Processing technology - Denon's proprietary upsampling algorithm, which interpolates additional data points for a smoother signal wave and shifts the digital filter away from the audible range. A high-precision master clock further reduces jitter, ensuring clarity and spaciousness of the sound.
The disk drive is built on the patented S.V.H (Suppress Vibration Hybrid) vibration suppression system - the same technology used in Denon's flagship players. It provides fast and accurate disc reading, minimizing both internal and external resonances. Separate power supplies for the analog and digital sections eliminate mutual interference between channels.
In Pure Direct mode, the display and digital outputs are switched off, leaving the signal to go exclusively through the balanced analog RCA outputs - this minimizes any interference on the way to the amplifier. It is worth noting: the DCD-3000NE has no digital inputs and cannot be used as an external DAC - the player is focused exclusively on disc playback.
In addition to SACD and regular CDs, the player plays DSD files (2.8 MHz/5.6 MHz), as well as high-resolution recordings up to 192 kHz/24 bit in FLAC, ALAC, AIFF formats on DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW discs.
Like all Denon flagship products, each DCD-3000NE undergoes final sound tuning by the company's Sound Master, Shinichi Yamauchi, ensuring compliance with the brand's signature sound signature.
