There are headphones that simply play music. And there are those that turn listening into a ritual. The Denon AH-D9200 is the latter: the flagship of the line, hand-assembled at the Denon Shirakawa Audio Works factory in Japan, where each pair is truly unique thanks to the natural wood grain of the case.
The heart of the AH-D9200 is the company's 50 mm FreeEdge dynamic drivers with a nanofiber diaphragm. The lightweight and rigid membrane effectively suppresses unwanted resonances, and neodymium magnets with a power of more than 1 Tesla provide clean signal transmission with virtually no distortion. The drivers are mounted on vibration-proof resin panels, which allows the soft suspension to move freely without deformation - the result: detailed, accurate and at the same time warm sound in the range from 5 Hz to 56 kHz at a resistance of 24 ohms.
Instead of zebrano or walnut, typical for other models of the series, the AH-D9200 uses Japanese bamboo. This material was chosen not for aesthetics (although it is at the highest level here), but for its unique acoustic properties: bamboo naturally dampens excess overtones, adding warmth and volume to the sound without losing transparency. A cast aluminum hanger secures the cups and provides a smooth change in the angle of inclination.
The headband made of genuine leather and ear cushions made of engineered leather and 3D memory foam are designed for long-term wear without fatigue and excessive pressure on the head. The closed-back design further isolates from external noise, without interfering with immersing yourself in the details of the recording.
The headphones come with two interchangeable cables of different lengths, a 6.3 mm adapter, a cloth for caring for wood and leather, as well as a luxurious storage case - everything you expect from a flagship.
