The Spektor DALI series of speaker systems is designed to complete not only stereo sets, but also home cinema, and therefore it includes a speaker for the Spektor Vokal center channel. This speaker is made on the basis of the same drivers and design solutions as the rest of the line of speakers, and therefore will provide a uniform frontal sound image from any of the stereo pairs.
The Spektor Vokal speaker has a classic front panel layout, on which a tweeter is located between two woofers. The tweeter in the column is equipped with a fabric dome with a diameter of 25 mm, which is lightweight. This ensured sound reproduction in an extended frequency range with minimal distortion, transparent and detailed sound of music. As in other speakers in the series, the tweeter is mounted on a chassis, which acts as a sound guide. Special notches on its surface adjacent to the tweeter dome, combined with special surface geometry, ensure alignment of its radiation pattern. On the sides of the tweeter there are two 4.5-inch woofers with diffusers made of wood-paper pulp, which can quickly move in piston mode due to an elastic suspension. At the back, opposite the bass drivers, there are bass reflex holes that expand the range of reproduced frequencies. The external finishing of the Spektor Vokal speaker is made with vinyl film imitating natural wood (walnut or black ash).
The rounded edges of the front panel, combined with the mechanical characteristics of the drivers, give the Spektor Vokal the very wide radiation pattern needed to create a convincing soundstage. For this reason, even if this relatively compact speaker is installed under a large diagonal TV, the frontal sound effects will be precisely linked to what is happening on the screen. Thanks to a precisely tuned crossover filter, the speaker delivers an articulate and natural mid-frequency range, which is very important for optimal dialogue reproduction. For ease of placement of Spektor Vokal on various surfaces, rubber feet are included in the package.
