The Sonik 9 is the most powerful and influential model in the SONIK series, designed to fill large rooms with sound with effortless authority, scale and precision. These speakers are the successor to the OBERON series, which debuted in 2018 and has become one of the most recognized speaker lines in its class worldwide.
Three 7-inch Clarity Cone woofers deliver deep, powerful bass with excellent control and dynamics. Each driver is mounted in front of a separate chamber for optimal tuning and a resonance-free environment, improving the accuracy of low-frequency reproduction.
Instead of a single tweeter, the Sonik 9 uses a proprietary hybrid module: a 29mm soft dome tweeter and a 17x45mm planar magnetostatic tweeter, working in tandem. This configuration delivers extended, airy highs and clarity of detail even at high volumes.
The cabinet is made of CNC-milled MDF with a rigid construction and internal stiffening ribs for increased strength. The bass ports are located at the rear and have a Dual Flare design with a conical flare at both ends, which minimizes air turbulence and ensures laminar flow at high volume levels.
The speakers feature adjustable aluminum outrigger feet inspired by the flagship EPIKORE series, allowing for the installation of spikes or rubber feet for stability on any type of floor.
