The acoustics have a two-way configuration and are equipped with high-quality branded speakers. This is a 5.25-inch woofer with a wood-paper cone, equipped with a powerful magnetic system and mounted on an anti-resonance chassis. To eliminate the impact of eddy currents on the coil and associated sound distortion, the woofer uses proprietary SMC technology.
The tweeter installed in DALI Oberon 1 was specially designed for use in speaker systems of this series. It features a lightweight 29mm diameter fabric dome that delivers extended frequency response and detailed, airy sound. The tweeter is mounted on a round metal chassis, which protects it from vibration and also serves to effectively dissipate heat from the voice coil. The column separation filter is made from selected components; One pair of screw terminals is provided for connection to the amplifier.
The damped body and relatively small dimensions of the front panel provide the DALI Oberon 1 with a wide sound picture with precise placement of images. Despite its compact size, the DALI Oberon 1 has an assertive and full-bodied sound. These speakers are perfect for stereo systems placed in small rooms and for the rear channels of a modern home theater. In terms of sound quality, these speakers significantly benefit when placed on specialized stands. Stable impedance ensures DALI Oberon 1 good compatibility with amplifiers and AV receivers.
