The Epic Power design is built on the unique ARAY conductor arrangement technology, which The Chord Company originally developed for its flagship products — and has now transferred to the Epic line. ARAY technology ensures stable operation and increased purity of the power signal.
The conductors are made of high-purity stranded copper. PVC insulation is used both inside and outside — with a high mechanical damping coefficient. This means that the cable not only conducts current, but also actively dampens vibrations that can penetrate the equipment structure through the power cord.
A double layer of combined braid and foil screen effectively cuts off high-frequency interference, and an outer shell with increased density additionally dampens vibrations. In a modern home, where every device generates electromagnetic noise, this is not a superfluous thing — it is a necessity.
The cable is available in standard lengths of 1, 1.5, 2 and 3 metres, as well as any length to order. With an IEC 10 or 16A connector on one end and a Euro plug on the other, it is a ready-made solution for any equipment in a European installation.
