SLI-80HS Black

The device belongs to the elite Heritage series, which in itself is a sign of quality: each device is assembled by hand at a factory in North Carolina (USA). This is an ideal choice for those who are tired of the sterile and dry "digital" sound and want to feel the real energy and volume that only a high-quality lamp can give.

The heart of the system is four powerful KT88 lamps, which are responsible for the brand's velvety timbre and large-scale stage. The main feature of the model is its incredible flexibility, because you get two different amplifiers in one housing. With a simple switch, you can select Triode mode, where the amplifier produces 40 watts in pure class A. This is a real paradise for lovers of vocals, jazz and acoustic instruments, where the sound becomes holographic and as detailed as possible. If you feel like having your own party or listening to dynamic rock, the Ultralinear mode will output 80 watts in class AB1, adding incredible speed, punch and control to the sound.

Technically, the HS (Heritage Series) version has made a big step forward compared to its predecessors. The use of solid-state rectification (Solid State Rectification) instead of kenotrons has made it possible to achieve a much faster attack and articulation in the lower register - now the bass is not just "warm", it is clear and collected, which is rare for tube circuits. The internal architecture impresses with the quality of the components: premium Mundorf capacitors and proprietary output transformers with EI-lamination are installed here, which ensure stable operation even with capricious acoustics at 4 or 8 ohms.

In addition to working with the main speakers, the SLI-80HS offers a full-fledged headphone path, which is designed to the highest standards and is capable of "rocking" even complex high-impedance models. The presence of a separate subwoofer output makes it easy to create a powerful triphonic system, which adds to the device modern versatility. Cary Audio SLI-80HS is that rare case when the equipment has a soul: it does not just play records, but creates the effect of presence, turning your living room into a concert hall. This is an investment in high-quality sound that will not get bored in years, but will only open new facets in your favorite music library.
