Description
Bluesound POWERNODE is more than just a streaming amplifier. It's a complete command center for music, movies, and your entire home.
Product information
At the heart of the POWERNODE is the updated DirectDigital™ technology with gallium nitride (GaN) transistors, which in stereo mode produces 100 watts per channel, and when the center channel is connected - 80 watts for each of the three. Compared to its predecessor, this is a significant leap: more power, a cleaner signal, zero tolerance for distortion. One owner, who went from the NAD C390DD to the previous POWERNODE and finally to the N331, described it this way: the crystal clarity of DirectDigital is back - and at the same time the limitations with dynamics that were in the old DD designs have disappeared.
POWERNODE is the quintessence of the “all-in-one” concept: a streamer, DAC and amplifier in one laconic case with a matte finish. The touch glass panel with a proximity sensor gives quick access to five programmable presets - press and your favorite playlist plays. Without unnecessary steps.
This is the main novelty of the 2025 generation. POWERNODE now supports LCR mode: 100 W × 2 in stereo or 80 W × 3 when connecting a passive center channel, and wireless rear speakers are added via Bluesound Bonded Speaker Link. This system uses its own Wi-Fi access point directly from POWERNODE - independent of your home network, which guarantees a stable signal even in large homes. The result: a complete 5.1 system without a receiver.
HDMI eARC allows you to connect your TV with a single cable with audio synchronization and volume control from the TV remote - no more piles of cables behind the panel. POWERNODE replaces both the amplifier, the soundbar and the AV receiver.
A dedicated 6.3 mm output based on THX AAA™ technology provides extremely low distortion for private listening - ideal for late nights with your favorite album and full concentration.
BluOS supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Roon compatibility, Apple AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive codec. Playback up to 24-bit/192kHz, MQA and DSD256 - all controlled from a single smartphone app. And in the future - room correction via Dirac Live, which is announced to be supported via a firmware update.
