Four XENYX preamps provide up to 130 dB of dynamic range with a bandwidth from below 10 Hz to over 200 kHz — a level previously associated only with studio equipment. A single-knob compressor is on each mono channel: just set the signal level and adjust the compression to your liking — no complicated settings, no unnecessary steps.
Each mono channel is equipped with a three-band British EQ, mute, low cut, solo and PFL buttons, as well as separate aux send and FX return controls. Two stereo inputs and two stereo aux returns provide flexible routing for both live performances and studio recording.
The built-in 24-bit effects processor contains 16 editable presets: reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and multi-effects — with a Tap function and the ability to save your own settings. Effects are not the main feature of the mixer, but for most tasks they are more than enough.
The built-in USB/audio interface provides two-way signal transmission between the mixer and the computer - no additional devices. All rotary controls are sealed, faders - 60 mm with a logarithmic characteristic for smooth control. The built-in switching power supply supports any mains voltage.
The X1204USB feels equally confident on a small stage, in a home recording studio, at a rehearsal point or in a podcast studio. Phantom power is available - condenser microphones can be connected without external power. A rail mount is included - if necessary, it can be mounted in a rack.
