Bang & Olufsen has created a new Beosound A5 portable wireless speaker system, designed in the style of the 1960s.

Outwardly, the model really resembles such models as the classic Beolit 607, its design was developed together with the Italian-Danish bureau GamFratesi.
Structurally, the novelty is an active acoustic system with a 360-degree directional pattern provided by four emitters driven by four amplifiers with a total power of 280 watts. The speaker set includes a 130mm woofer, two 50mm mid-range radiators and one 20mm tweeter.
The built-in battery allows the speaker to work for up to 12 hours on a single charge, and the IP65 certification means that the housing is protected against moisture and dust. Wireless capabilities of the model include not only a Bluetooth 5.2 module with support for AAC, SBC codecs, but also support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast and Spotify Connect platforms. The proprietary Mozart platform is also supported.
