Description
The Pearl 48 features high-purity, long-grain copper conductors that have been "directionally" routed for the most effective dissipation of radio frequency noise.
HDMI cables capable of 48Gbps require precision and tight manufacturing tolerances, which means that many of AudioQuest’s proven components and methods are used in the manufacturing process. The 48Gbps throughput is made possible by 4 balanced audio/video pairs capable of transmitting 12Gbps each.
This model uses full signal shielding, but traditional “100% protection” is not enough to protect the signal from Wi-Fi, cellular and satellite radiation.
In AudioQuest HDMI cables, all 19 conductors are “directional” to minimize RF noise that degrades signal transmission by directing it away from the most vulnerable circuits. This provides the necessary margin of performance for the cable to operate stably in the most challenging situations.
The Pearl 48 supports HDR high dynamic range protocols, including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as eARC audio return channel. The latter provides for the transmission of audio signals from the TV to an AV receiver or soundbar in all modern HD formats, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS: X.
