Description
AudioQuest Ethernet RJ/E Pearl cables use solid long grain copper (LGC) conductors that completely eliminate crosstalk, one of the biggest sources of distortion in cables, for clearer, more dynamic, and more immersive sound.
Improved material properties minimize distortion. A solid HDPE insulation helps maintain the critical geometry of the signal pair. Of course, all AudioQuest Ethernet cables are directional, as is the case with all analog and digital audio cables; the arrows on the jacket indicate the direction (from source to destination) for the best sound quality.
The past few years have seen a revolution in the way people store, distribute, and access digital media (in real-time), including photos, movies, and of course, music. No longer dependent on physical media, our media is often data that travels from multiple devices to multiple locations. For audio applications and audio over Ethernet protocols, Pearl cables offer the benefits of high speed, low latency, capable of transmitting a signal over significant distances (up to 100 meters without an active amplifier or repeater) and extremely low jitter (desynchronization), perfect bitrate.
