SDA200 Signature Black
Description
Network player, Burr-Brown PCM1792 (24 bit / 192 kHz), supports AirPlay2, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi. Dimensions 440 x 90 x 320 mm, weight 11 kg.
Unlike the previous SDA200, which used a PCM5102 converter, the Signature model entrusts the heart of the DAC to the timeless but still relevant PCM1792. The DAC accepts resolutions up to 24/192 and DSD 128, and these signals can be further sent to a coaxial or optical PCM output or further to an amplifier.
The SDA200 Signature is also a complete integrated amplifier with two analog inputs. The signal path is covered with MKP Mundorf shielded capacitors, and the power supply is implemented using two toroidal transformers (digital devices have a separate power supply) with a total capacity of more than 60,000 uF. Two pairs of MOSFETs per channel provide 2 x 120W into 8 ohms.
On the front of the device is an LCD screen with plenty of well-organized graphics data that would be the envy of most streamers. The slider and back button on the left are used to navigate throughout the device and all functions. On the right is the volume control in the form of a step attenuator, very pleasant to the touch when using. A convenient USB port on the front panel allows you to connect external drives and drives without going behind the device, and there is also a headphone jack.
On the rear panel of this unit, the speaker outputs, two coaxial and optical inputs, two analog inputs, a UTP connector and another USB input, optical and coaxial output, and the power amplifier output are extremely robust and precise.
