The Arturia KeyLab 88 MkII is a versatile MIDI controller that includes 88 velocity-sensitive aftertouch and Fatar TP / 100LR hammer keys, a rotary encoder, 9 additional knobs, 9 faders, 16 RGB illuminated pads, touch and sensitive to pressure, pitch bend / modulation wheels, a small display and functional buttons.
The system is designed to provide control via the included Analog Lab software, Ableton Live Lite and the V-Piano virtual instrument, as well as any MIDI-controlled plug-in or DAW. The controller can be configured for other software using the software downloaded via the MIDI Control Center.
What's more, KeyLab MKII offers full control over standard MIDI, allowing you to control your DAW software on any platform and includes 10 overlays to help you quickly switch between applications. The model has three switching modes (Analog Lab, Daw Mode, User Mode). The controller is compatible with Mac and Windows. Controlling a modern professional synthesizer is a complex process associated with the control of several hundreds, or even thousands, of various parameters that determine certain aspects of the sound.
The controller includes three mode switching buttons that allow you to quickly switch between Analog Lab mode, DAW mode and a user-defined mode for controlling hardware or software instruments and MIDI plug-ins.
Analog Lab mode allows you to control all elements of Analog Lab without having to use your mouse. The software includes over 7,000 preset TAE sounds from Arturia's award-winning V-Collection.
With the help of KeyLab 88 MKII, you can move between presets, as well as create and save your own. The keyboard can be split or layered to create new sounds. All included software is compatible with all major DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, FL Studio, Bitwig, Cubase, Ableton Live, Digital Performer, Studio One.
