These are active bookshelf speakers that don't need anything extra. Plug it in and play. For a laptop, TV, vinyl, or just streaming, FENRIS 4 can do it all.
The built-in amplifier is class D, 2×40 W. There is Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX support for wireless listening, but with quality. There is an input for a TV (optical), a computer (RCA), a player with an MM cartridge (built-in phono equalizer!), as well as an output for a subwoofer.
The sound is balanced, with pleasant bass and open tops. They don't try to be bigger than they are, but they give a full stage even in a small room. The 4-inch midbass works clearly, without humming or mush, and the silk tweeter sounds soft and neat.
The design is typically Danish: nothing superfluous, everything in its place. Laconic body, magnetic grilles, light or black veneer, matte finish.
FENRIS 4 is the case when you don't need to bother. Just turn it on and listen.
