Description
The Arcam R25B is a premium powered subwoofer designed to complement the Arcam Radia speaker systems. It adds a deep low-frequency foundation, weight and cinematic effect to your audio system in music and films, while maintaining bass control and precision.
The model is suitable for systems where a noticeable extension of the low range is required without losing the accuracy of sound. The subwoofer works as part of a home audio system or home theater based on Radia acoustics, helping to convey both the resonance of acoustic instruments and powerful low-frequency effects in the cinema.
The design uses a 250 mm woofer with a coated fiber-composite diffuser in a cast aluminum frame. A large 75 mm double-layer copper voice coil provides a peak excursion of 30 mm, and a Class D digital amplifier with a power of 750 W RMS creates a dynamic margin for confident bass reproduction.
The cabinet with a bass reflex setting through the rear port and internal amplification is designed for clean, resonantly controlled bass. The presence of volume, crossover frequency and phase controls simplifies the integration of the subwoofer into the system and allows you to coordinate its operation with the main Hi-Fi speakers.
