ARCAM R15 is a compact bookshelf speaker from the Radia series, designed for high-quality sound in moderate-sized rooms. The model can be placed on a shelf, cabinet or special stand, so it is easily integrated into a home audio system without the need for large cabinets.
The design uses a 25mm Deep Ceramic Composite dome tweeter with an acoustic lens and waveguide. This solution helps to get smooth, natural high frequencies and a wide sound stage even when listening off-center. The mid-low frequency range is responsible for a 130mm speaker with a Micro Ceramic Composite diffuser, which provides rich, detailed sound with rhythmic accuracy.
Unlike standard compact solutions, the ARCAM R15 combines a small format with a well-thought-out acoustic design: a rigid cabinet with internal stiffening ribs, a bass reflex with a port on the rear panel, a precise 2-way crossover with premium components and a hidden mounting system for a neat front panel. This makes the model suitable for a stereo system, Hi-Fi system or home acoustics, where purity of delivery, compactness and holistic sound are important.
