Description
ADAM Audio S5V is a professional active three-way mid-field studio monitor designed for professional studios, musicians and audiophiles alike. It is part of the S series of the German manufacturer ADAM Audio. It can be used in control rooms, on a desk, for post-production or as a personal monitor - the range of applications is very wide. The main features of the monitor include a triple amplification circuit (tri-amp): this means that the signal is separately amplified for low, medium, and separately for high frequencies. Class D amplifiers are used: 700 W are provided for the low-frequency driver, the mid-frequency range provides another 300 W and the tweeter receives 100 W. The monitor reproduces the full frequency range of high-resolution audio with high clarity and crystal fidelity.

Adam S5V – designed for medium to large studios, offers all professionals, from reference sound in its class, but also reproduces the full range with high resolution, maximum accuracy and clarity.
The 12" woofer, developed specifically for this model range, is based on Extended Linear Excursion (ELE) and Symmetrical Magnet Assembly (SMA) technologies, which together provide incredibly tight bass with the widest linear sound and precise ending in the sub-bass region. Mid-range and high-frequency parts are reproduced with the same analytical precision thanks to the combination of ADAM Audio's newly developed 4" DCH mid-range driver and S-ART high-frequency HF ribbon driver.
S series
A line of flagship monitors from Adam, consisting of models: S2V, S3H, S3V, S5H & S5V, where H means the speakers are designed for horizontal use and V for vertical use. This line is the result of a combination of many years of development and innovation by Adam engineers with the latest computer-aided design technologies.
Innovations created specifically for the S Series include: all-new woofers and midrange drivers, newly designed waveguides for the S Series tweeter (and midrange driver on S5 models) + new DSP engine providing crossover optimization, voice options and expansion potential .
The result of all efforts is a set of speakers with precise frequency response and wide consistent dispersion, offering extended low- and mid-range detail and strong overall performance. This generation operates over wider frequency ranges than previous ADAM Audio designs - so you get more bass and the most critical mid-range information with increased overall maximum output level but reduced distortion. They also offer future-proof digital connectivity alongside their analog connections.
