Enhance performance with cutting-edge technology: Technics SU-R1000 integrated amplifier features four independent power supplies, superior MM/MC phono stage
The technology behind the SU-R1000, the first reference-class integrated amplifier in Technics history, is so complex and advanced that it often takes the form of acronyms: ADCT, LAPC, JENO, ASSPS. Above all, however, the SU-R1000 is a model of simplicity in the way it plays music, giving you, the listener, incredible control and ease of operation. The striking appearance is a bonus of sorts—a visual reward for investing in a component that stops at nothing when it comes to immersive, emotional, and high-quality fidelity—and what it takes to deliver it.
Equipped with all-new Active Distortion Control Technology (ADCT), which further enriches the audio experience by eliminating distortion generated in the power stage by speaker back-electromotive force and supply voltage drop, as well as new and improved speed. An ultra-silent power supply (ASSPS) that delivers stunning signal-to-noise ratio, the SU-R1000 also boasts four independent power supplies for the differential circuit blocks, delivering stunning instrument separation and massive dynamic swing. Additionally, the SU-R1000 uses a high-speed, ultra-low-resistance GaN (gallium nitride) FET driver in the output power section. The approach allows the use of a single push-pull configuration.
Functionally, the SU-R1000 offers a variety of inputs and outputs, the main ones being two USB-B inputs and a stunning MM/MC phono stage with XLR input. The latter, called Intelligent Phono EQ, features an advanced three-part design: a precise equalizer curve derived from a hybrid analog-digital system; Crosstalk Compensator, which measures your cartridge's crosstalk and performs inverse correction using the built-in DSP; and a response optimizer that measures the frequency response of the cartridge and corrects for any noise and impedance matching effects. All three can be disabled, depending on your preference.
